I think sometimes people are just reading and not interested in commenting, or perhaps are stuck for something to say, or to say it just right. I am of course referring to an earlier post of yours. Some people may find it time consuming and also some people cannot comment because they do not have an account. That's my thoughts anyway. But of course, it's always nice to get some feedback (especially positive) because otherwise it can seem like we're just talking to ourselves. I'm always excited to get comments.

I like the yellow carpet post, especially the photo with the cacti growing straight and tall in the yellow carpet.

Yes that is a gnarly tree. I think that gnarly is a very interesting word. Seems to fit that tree to a "T".
